Techno Is It T-shirt. The inspiration for the phrase and font choice came from an 80's campaign for a certain fizzy drink. The stars and stripes represent the origins of Detroit Techno with the 3 stars symbolising The Belleville Three. The three individuals most closely associated with the birth of Detroit techno as a genre are Juan Atkins (The Initiator), Kevin Saunderson (The Elevator) and Derrick May (The Innovator).
